Galaxy Z Fold 8 on BIS certification

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 series and Galaxy Z Flip 8 are expected to debut at Samsung’s next Unpacked event, which is rumored to take place on July 22 in London. These devices should become available shortly after their official announcement.

While the BIS certification does not reveal any hardware specifications, there are plenty of rumors and leaks that suggest what to expect from the Galaxy Z Fold 8. It is expected to feature a 7.6-inch inner display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, which is wider than Samsung’s current Fold models. The cover display is expected to measure around 5.4 inches.

On the camera front, the foldable could feature a 50MP primary sensor alongside a 50MP ultrawide camera. The device could be packed with a 4800mAh battery paired with 45W wired fast charging support.

The upcoming foldable might be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The same chipset might also be powering the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Meanwhile, multiple leaks have already revealed the device’s design. These leaks give us an early look at Samsung’s next-generation foldable ahead of its official unveiling.
