  • Apple Watch Series 10
  • Apple Watch Series 11
  • Apple Watch Ultra 2
  • Apple Watch Ultra 3

If you own an iPhone 11 or newer compatible with iOS 27 or newer, you can update your Apple Watch to watchOS 27. In comparison, watchOS 26 support starts with the Apple Watch Series 6.

If you’re in a hurry and want to taste the watchOS 27 features on your Apple Watch, you can update your watch to the developer beta. You can freely update your watch; however, keep in mind that it is the very first beta of the update, so you may face bugs.

If you want to test watchOS 27, you can easily select the Developer Beta option in Apple Watch app > Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates. When you selected watchOS 27 developer beta, you will receive the update, simply download it and install on your watch.

If you prefer a more stable experience in beta, you can wait for the public beta release. In terms of availability, the public beta is scheduled to release in July.
