As per the various sources, the Android 10 update is rolling out globally. User from India, Nepal, UK reported receiving the updae. Till now, users haven’t reported any issues with the second Mi A2 Lite Android 10 update, and even one user posted that the update is working fine for him. In the past, we observed that Xiaomi has a bad history when it comes to updates. Well, not in all phones but few phones, especially the Android One devices. It looks like stock Android is not their specialty.

Looking into the details of rereleased Mi A2 Lite, the update weighs 1.15 GB, which is a big update. After a long wait finally, Mi A2 Lite users get to experience the stable and bug free stock Android 10 on their phone. The Mi A2 Lite update comes with the same changelog that we got in the last buggy update. It includes system wide dark mode, new gesture navigation, enhanced privacy settings, and a few more changes. Below you can check the changelog.

Android 10 Update for Mi A2 Lite – Changelog

  • Dark Theme
  • Gesture navigation
  • Privacy Controls
  • Replaces the Xiaomi FM Radio with a Qualcomm app

Few users have also reported that they received the notification for the update, but it is not showing in the Software Update page. It looks like Xiaomi is pulling the update for some reason. It may be possible because they want to follow the batch update process.

As of now, the latest Mi A2 Lite Android 10 firmware or the OTA file is not available, but we will update once we get hands on it. But still, you can manually check for the update on your phone to see if you are lucky to receive the update early. It is a batch rollout so that some users might get the update early, and some users may get in a few weeks.

You can manually check for updates and install the update if available by following the below steps.
