Today, Samsung released the official One UI 8.5 update for several devices, including the Galaxy Tab S11 series, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, and Galaxy A36. The update has already started rolling out earlier this week for the Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy A36, but it was initially limited to select regions.
The One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy Tab S11 series comes with build version BZE3 and is currently rolling out to users in Korea. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S23 series is now receiving the update globally with build version FZDP.
As for the more affordable models, the Galaxy S23 FE is now receiving the official One UI 8.5 update in India with build number GZDP, while the Galaxy A36 update is also rolling out in India along with Europe with build version CZDD.
The official One UI 8.5 update for these devices will soon be available in all regions. Since One UI 8.5 is a big update, it weighs over 3 or 4GB for non-beta users.
Despite being a mid-year update, it brings significant changes and improvements, including a redesigned interface, new and improved Galaxy AI, improved Camera, and more customization options.
If you own Galaxy Tab S11, Tab S11 Ultra, Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 FE, or Galaxy A36, you can check for the update in Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Make sure to back up your data just in case.
Samsung initially delayed the official release of the One UI 8.5 update, but after finally bringing it to the Galaxy S25, the company has accelerated the rollout pace. As a result, Samsung has already expanded the update to several eligible models in a short period.
