Oppo F15 gets Stable Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1 Update

Oppo may have a lot of devices in the collection but they always find a way to push the latest updates. And Oppo F15 is the latest oppo phone receiving stable Android 11 updates after a month of beta testing. The device first received the Android 11 beta on January end for limited users. Here you will know about the Oppo F15 Android 11 update.

This week only we have witnessed a bunch of Oppo phones receiving Android 11 stable and beta updates. Till now Oppo Reno2F, Reno 10X Zoom, Oppo A93, Reno4 5G, and a few other Oppo devices managed to get the stable Android 11 update. And now after a few months wait, Oppo F15 joined the list.

As you know Oppo phones run on custom os named ColorOS and currently ColorOS 11.1 is the latest update based on Android 11. In case you don’t know, Oppo already shared the roadmap for Android 11 updates. And according to the official roadmap, Oppo F15 was supposed to receive the update from March 17. But it is already rolling out to the public a few days early.

The stable Android 11 update for Oppo F15 is rolling out with build number CPH2001_11_F.10. Like other major updates, it also weighs more than 1GB. We are not sure about which security patch comes with the update, but as per our guess, it will be either February 2021 or March 2021.

If we talk about what’s new in the update, it brings many new features and improvements. As of now, we don’t have the official changelog but you can expect features like chat bubbles, improved system security, notification history, new notification panel, and a few more features.

The Android 11 for Oppo F15 is rolling out in India confirmed by some users on Twitter. Oppo Care India also welcomed users in a comment so it’s most probably the beginning official rollout.

The stable ColorOS 11.1 will be available to users over the air in batches. So, it is possible that you get the update in the first batch or you have to wait for other batches. Sometimes users don’t get notifications for over the air updates, so make sure you always check for updates manually from Settings. It will show the latest update, tap on Download & Install to get the latest update.
