Summarize This Article:

Nothing has confirmed that it is preparing a special edition of its upcoming budget smartphone, the Nothing Phone (4b). The Nothing Phone 4b is scheduled to launch on July 7, and the special edition is expected to debut alongside the standard model or shortly afterward.

The special edition Nothing Phone (4b) will feature exclusive RCB-themed design elements while retaining the same hardware specifications as the standard version. RCB (Royal Challengers Bengaluru) is one of the most popular franchises in the Indian Premier League and recently won back-to-back IPL titles.

Nothing confirmed the special edition through an Instagram reel created in collaboration with members of the RCB team. However, they didn’t reveal the exact design, but they have confirmed the Red color option, which represents RCB. Along with device color, the special edition Nothing Phone 4b may pack exclusive wallpapers, themes, software customization, and even the device packaging.

The Nothing Phone 4b is expected to have a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256 GB UFS 2.2 storage. The device is expected to pack a dual rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera.

Rumors suggest that the Nothing Phone 4b will have a large 5000mAh or 6000mAh battery and is expected to come with Android 16 out of the box.

Along with the RCB special edition Red color, the standard model of the Nothing Phone 4b will be available in Black, Blue, and White color options. All these will be confirmed within a week, as the launch is almost imminent.
