ColorOS 11 is the latest update for Oppo devices and it is based on Android 11. This year Oppo has already pushed the stable ColorOS 11 update to some of its devices. And recently Oppo A93 also started getting the stable Android 11 based ColorOS 11 update at least in Malaysia as of now. If you have the Oppo A93 then you will finally get to taste Android 11 on your phone.
Color OS is the company’s custom UI and each Oppo device runs on it. It provides a different and unique design compared to Stock Android. It may not be reliable for users looking for a clean experience, but it is perfect for users who like customization. The ColorOS improved a lot in recent years, and ColorOS 11 also brings major improvements.
The Oppo A93 is a mid range phone released back in October 2020. It runs on Android 10 based ColorOS 7.2 out of the box. Oppo releases the Android 11 schedule a while back and according to the roadmap many devices already received the Android 11 update. Some users have already received the Android 11 beta early this year in selected regions. But it is only available to users who enrolled for the Trial Version from Software Update settings.

In a response to a Tweet from an Oppo A93 user, the Official ColorOS handle makes it official that the stable ColorOS 11 update is now available for Oppo A93 in Malaysia. There is currently no news on when users in other regions can expect the ColorOS 11 update on their Oppo A93. But according to some recent updates, it shouldn’t take much time.
It’s now almost two months since the Oppo A93 ColorOS 11 beta rollout. And finally making its way to the public. It is the first major Android Update for Oppo A93 and so you can expect big changes.
The Oppo A93 Android app Update brings some notable features from Android 11 as well as ColorOS 11. The update comes with a bunch of new features including Oppo Sans Font, three-finger gesture to translate using Google Lens, Nearby Sharing, Super Power Saving Mode, Dark Mode improvement, Wallpapers, FlexDrop, Always on Display, and more. Other than that, the update also brings standard features of Android 11.
The Android 11 update for Oppo A93 is rolling out in batches, and so if you haven’t received the update yet, then make sure to check for updates manually from Settings. Sometimes the update doesn’t show up in the Notification. So periodically checking for Updates will let you know once it is available for your device. You can check for updates by going to Settings > Software Update.
Before updating your device, make sure to back up all your important data and then try the latest Android 11 update.
