Samsung is continuing to expand the One UI 8.5 rollout and is now nearing the final stages of deployment across eligible Galaxy devices. The Galaxy F15 and Galaxy M15 are the latest smartphones to receive the update, as Samsung shifts its focus from premium and mid-range models to more affordable devices.
The One UI 8.5 update is currently rolling out to the Galaxy F15 and Galaxy M15 in India with build numbers E156BXXUADZE7 and M156BXXUADZE7, respectively. Credit goes to Mohammed Khatri for spotting the rollout. The update is expected to expand to other regions where these devices are available in the coming days and weeks.
Although One UI 8.5 is Samsung’s mid-cycle software update, it still brings a number of notable improvements and new features. These include visual improvements, smoother animations, updated stock apps, and new and updated Galaxy AI features if your device is eligible.
If you own a Galaxy F15 or Galaxy M15 and haven’t received the update yet, there’s no need to worry. Samsung typically releases updates in phases, so it may take some time before it reaches all users. You can manually check for the update by heading to Settings > Software Update > Download and install.
The One UI 8.5 update package is over 2GB in size, so it’s recommended to download it using a Wi-Fi connection. As always, creating a backup of your important data before installing a major software update is a good idea.
