Summarize This Article:

Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to launch its next premium flagship, the Xiaomi 18, in September. The device is anticipated to introduce several notable upgrades over its predecessor, with details already beginning to emerge ahead of the official announcement. The latest leak sheds light on some key specifications, including display and battery details.

A reliable leaker, Digital Chat Station, on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, revealed that the Xiaomi 18 will feature a 6.4-inch display, slightly larger than its predecessor, which is 6.3 inches. The aspect ratio of 19.5:9 remains the same for the upcoming phone.

The leaker further added that it is a 2K resolution display with ultra-narrow bezels and a perfectly straight screen with large rounded corners. As per the information, the phone’s battery capacity will start with a number 7, and some users commented on his reply with a 7,800mAh rating. However, we need to wait a little more to get the actual rated capacity of the battery, but it will definitely be more than 7,000mAh.

Xiaomi 17 was launched with a 6,300mAh battery, which means an upgrade is confirmed for battery rating. Not only this, but the leaker has also mentioned that the Pro phones will have silicon batteries and dual 200MP cameras (main camera and telephoto camera). The vanilla model is also expected to feature a 200MP primary camera.
