Galaxy S26 FE’s first real world image leak shows its design changes

Summarize This Article:

After a few specifications and case leaks about Galaxy S26 FE, the device has now surfaced in what appears to be its first real-world image. The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to be Samsung’s next Fan Edition smartphone and the successor to the Galaxy S25 FE.

The Galaxy S26 FE has now appeared in a WPC listing, first spotted by 9to5Google. The listing includes real-life images showing both the front and the rear of the device. It also confirms the model number SM-S741.

Based on the leaked image, the Galaxy S26 FE appears to feature are designed rear camera layout, while the rest of the design remains largely unchanged. Instead of separate camera rings like in the Galaxy S25 FE, the S26 FE to come with a vertical camera island that houses all three rear cameras in a single bump.

However, the camera island appears a bit off in the leaked image due to its placement. There seems to be noticeably more space between the camera module and the left edge of the device than between the module and the top edge, leaving an uneven corner gap. The WPC listing does not reveal any other details about the device.

Prior to this leak, the Galaxy S26 FE had also surfaced in Geekbench and GSMA listings. More recently, renders of Galaxy S26 FE cases were leaked as well. Based on the information revealed through these listings and leaks, the device is expected to feature Exynos 2500 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and ship with Android 17 (One UI 9) out of the box.

The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to be released after the upcoming foldable devices. Since its successor was released in September, we can expect the Galaxy S26 FE to launch in late August or early September.

Given the time remaining until the launch, we can expect more information about the device to surface in the coming weeks.
