Its has only been a few months since Samsung launched its latest flagship lineup, the Galaxy S26 series, but the leaks about the next generation are already beginning to surface. A new report suggests that the rumored Galaxy S27 Pro could feature a larger battery than expected.
Samsung is reportedly planning to introduce a fourth model to its flagship Galaxy S lineup with a new Pro branding. If the rumors are accurate, the Galaxy S27 Pro will join the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, and Galaxy S27 Ultra. It is said to be an upper-level model than the Galaxy S27 Plus. The device is rumored to share several premium features with the Ultra.
According to X user kro_itnyang, the Galaxy S27 Pro will be equipped with a big 5000 mAh battery. Previous leaks have also hinted at a 6.47-inch display, suggesting that the device will be noticeably smaller than the Plus and Ultra variants.
Interestingly, the Galaxy S27 Pro is rumored to offer the same battery capacity as the Galaxy S26 Ultra. One possible reason could be the absence of an S Pen slot, allowing Samsung to utilize the extra internal space for a larger battery.
Camera details have also started to surface. Earlier reports claimed that the Galaxy S27 Pro could share the same primary and ultrawide cameras as the Ultra model, while using a different telephoto sensor. Rumors further suggest that both the Pro and Ultra variants may feature a triple-camera setup, with Samsung introducing new sensors for the primary and ultrawide cameras.
If these rumors prove accurate, the Galaxy S27 Pro could become an attractive option for users who want flagship-level performance and premium cameras without carrying the larger Ultra-sized device.
For now, details about the Galaxy S27 Pro remain limited, but with Samsung’s next flagship launch still months away, more leaks and reports are expected to emerge in the coming weeks.
