Clubhouse for Android goes beta testing for limited users

The clubhouse is an audio-only chat app that is currently available for iOS. It gained popularity in no time because of its unique concept which was not available on any app. The app allows users to talk, listen to others by joining groups of users around the world. It is a great concept that every popular social media platform is adopting these features.

Recently Clubhouse developers also introduced the beta for a handful of Android users. It is currently available only for limited users, but it will soon be available for more users. Other big Social Media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Discord, etc. have already introduced the same feature on their apps after seeing the success of Clubhouse. And if Clubhouse delays their stable app release for Android, they may lose a big number of users who are waiting for Clubhouse for Android. You can check out Clubhouse alternatives here.

These days everyone is talking about Clubhouse, but it is only available for iOS users and injustice for Android users. And Android’s audience is way more than iOS, which means they are missing more audience. But with this beta testing announcement, it is now clear that Android users will finally get to experience the original Clubhouse.

The announcement made in the Release Notes for the latest Clubhouse for iOS. Below you can check the full release notes:

Better prompts to follow your club

When you host a room and people are enjoying it, they’ll probably want to follow your club so that they can get notified when you host a new room. To make this easier, we’ve added a prompt that shows up when new people pop into your room and stick around for a few minutes. We hope this helps more people get connected, without hosts having to remind people. 🙂

Android BETA testing beginning

Android is not yet live, but we started rolling a rough beta version out to a handful of friendly testers. If you hear someone saying they are using Clubhouse on the official Android app, please give them a warm welcome! We cannot wait to welcome more Android users to Clubhouse over the coming weeks. 🙂 🎉

More plumbing for improved discovery, notification quality and abuse prevention

Like last week, we’ve added more plumbing to help make your follow/room/club suggestions and notifications better and better over the coming weeks and months. We’ve also added more tooling to help continuously improve trust & safety.

Improvements to VoiceOver accessibility support

We made it way easier to find out who is speaking for our VoiceOver users. Use the “Magic Tap” gesture (double-tap with two fingers) any time within the room and the system will announce who is currently speaking.

With the above changelog from Clubhouse, we can expect that it will be going to release soon. And once it releases it is going to be trending in the Play Store for sure. If you are also mad about the Clubhouse, then it is great news for you, as you don’t have to wait much.

If developers decide to release the beta publicly, we are going to share it with you along with a Clubhouse apk file that you can directly install on your phone. But as of now, there is no official Clubhouse apk available. And if you come across any apk now, do not try that apk as it can be a spam app. So, make sure to only try Clubhouse apk from verified sources.

So that’s all for now on Clubhouse news, and once we get more information about it, you will get to know in YTECHB. I hope the Clubhouse team doesn’t make us wait longer to try on Android. Till its release, you can try Clubhouse alternatives.
