Xiaomi Rolling out HyperOS 3.1 update to Xiaomi 17, 17 Ultra, 15T Pro, and Pad 7 Series Globally

Last month, Xiaomi started rolling out the stable HyperOS 3.1 update to global markets. Ever since, the company has been on a roll, shipping the update to many eligible devices, the list includes Xiaomi 17 series, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi 15T Pro, and Pad 7 series.

Xiaomi’s newest skin is based on Android 16 and is currently in its initial rollout phase. HyperOS 3.1 skin brings a slew of new features and improvements to compatible Xiaomi devices. The update for Xiaomi 15T Pro weighs around 1.1GB in download size. The update is rolling out to compatible devices with following build numbers:

  • Xiaomi Pad 7: Build 3.0.301.0

Talking about the features, HyperOS 3.1 brings an advanced Hyper Island system, better connectivity with iOS, an iOS-style recent apps screen, Rust-based system apps for a future-proof OS, Xiaomi Connect support for Mac, and more. Additionally, the update squashes known issues and system-wide improvements.

If you own any of the above-listed Xiaomi smartphones or tablets, you will soon receive the official HyperOS 3.1 update, if you haven’t already. The update follows a staged rollout, which may take a few weeks to reach all users. You can check for the update in Settings > About phone > System update (or tap the HyperOS banner at the top) and tap “Check for updates”.
