Samsung has been on the highway launching new updated models of its Galaxy A series smartphones. Today, the official renders of the upcoming Galaxy A27 have surfaced. These new renders have been revealed to the world by the team at MyMobiles.com and OnLeaks, a very popular leaker that you can follow on X (Twitter).
The Galaxy A27 is an upcoming budget-segment smartphone that is perfect for users who want a few modern features, decent cameras, and a good battery to browse social media and stream videos from various services. The Galaxy A27 will be the successor to the Galaxy A26, which was launched back in 2025. So, what’s new with the Galaxy A27? Let’s find out!
Galaxy A27: Render Designs
Render leaks of any smartphone are a great way to understand the design language that a brand is looking to stick with for many of its products. So, in the case of the Galaxy A27, we can see the usual Samsung design styling at the front as well as the rear, which is very similar to the previous generation Galaxy A26. There’s the front punch hole camera and the rear triple camera in a pill setup with the LED flash on the right side of the vertical camera pill.

The device does have rounded corners, which is perfect as these corners will no longer dig into your palms when you use or hold your phone. Samsung continues to use the flat screen style that has a decent amount of bezels. Towards the right-hand side, you have the usual placement of the volume rocker buttons and the power button just below it.
In terms of color options, the Galaxy A27 will be available in three colors:
- Blue
- Black
- Light Pink

Will the Galaxy A27 Be a Better Pick Over the Galaxy A26?
It might seem obvious that the newer Galaxy A27 is better than the Galaxy A26. While that is true, there definitely are a few trade-offs. First of course, there is going to be the price. With the prices of hardware increasing everywhere, don’t expect the Galaxy A27 to be launched at the same price as the Galaxy A26, which was launched in 2025. Samsung has also removed the microSD card slot from the A27, a feature that was available on the Galaxy A26 that lets you expand storage up to 1TB.
On the SoC side of things, Samsung is switching from its in-house Exynos 1380 to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. There’s also the OS upgrade. You see, the Galaxy A26 was launched with One UI 7 out of the box, and the Galaxy A27 is launching with One UI 8.5 out of the box. So yes, the A27 will have software support for a little more time than usual when compared to the Galaxy A26.
The Galaxy A27 is expected to arrive towards the middle of 2026, i.e., anywhere between June and September. When comparing it with the release timeframe of its predecessors, there is no fixed timeframe. Samsung can and will usually release these devices as and when they feel like it
