One UI 8.5 Beta 9 goes live for Galaxy S25 series

The update has been released two weeks after the eighth beta build. The incremental upgrade addresses a fresh set of issues alongside a couple of new additions.

Samsung is seeding the One UI 8.5 beta 9 to Galaxy S25 with firmware ending with the ZZD5 build number. The incremental update weighs around 870MB of download size. It will bump up the monthly security patch version to April 2026. As per the details shared by Samsung Enthusiast Tarun Vats, the update is available to S25 users in India, Germany, Korea, and the UK.

The latest One UI 8.5 Beta update for the Galaxy S25 primarily focuses on bug fixes and stability improvements. It brings support for AirDrop connection with Apple Devices, 3 new camera filters, and bug fixes. You can check out the official changelog below.

  • Improved stuttering issue whern entering gallery albums under certain conditions
  • Improved issue where AOD time information was displayed incorrectly in certain situations
  • Improved notification card UI when the device is rotated
  • Improved issue where the lock screen briefly appeared during an incoming call before transitioning to the call screen
