iOS 18 is one of the biggest updates for the iPhone, thanks to features like an all-new Theme Engine, better customization support for the home screen, Apple Intelligence, Math Notes, App Lock feature, and more.

The update is already available to developers for testing purposes. At its annual developer conference, Apple shared the iOS 18 public beta will be released in July, but when is it coming out? In this article, you will get an idea about the iOS 18 public beta release date.

Sticking with a years-long schedule, Apple released the first developer beta of iOS 18 for testing beta after the WWDC event. We tested it on our secondary device and it works fine; we didn’t face any major issues. Two weeks later, Apple kicked off the second beta of iOS 18 for developers, which has a weird missing apps icon bug.

Now it’s time for the third beta of iOS 18 for developers, which will later be released as the public beta. It will be more suitable for daily use, but the question is when it is coming out?

iOS 18 Public Beta Release Date

After analyzing the previous trends, we can predict that Apple will release the iOS 18 public beta in the latter part of the week of July 8 or early in the week of July 15.

Apple is releasing the new iOS 18 beta at two-week intervals and if the trend continues, we can expect the third beta early next week. If everything goes fine, Apple could surprise us with the public beta in the same week or early next week.

Last year, Apple released the first public beta of iOS 17 on July 12. The third developer beta was initially released on July 6 and later re-released on July 11, with the public beta following the next day.

As the public beta release is imminent, you can start preparing your iPhone for the iOS 18 public beta. First things first, take a backup of important data before installing the update.
