Better late than never: After 14 years since its launch, the iPad has finally received a Calculator app with iPadOS 18. At first glance, the app looks very similar to the Calculator app available on iPhone; however, it offers significantly more functionality.
With the Apple Pencil, you can now write down math problems and equations, and the app will automatically solve them. Apple is branding this feature as “Math Notes.” The new feature can also be accessed in the Notes and Freeform.
