Samsung starts rolling One UI 2.5 update for Galaxy Tab S6

One UI 2.5 is the latest update from Samsung which has rolled out for many devices in the past couple of months. And now Galaxy Tab S6 has also joined the list of smartphones with One UI 2.5. Samsung has started working on One UI 3 and it may release shortly with Android 11. But at first only Flagship devices will get the update and so Samsung doesn’t want to leave behind other phones, so they are constantly providing the latest updates. Here you get to know how to install One UI 2.5 on Galaxy Tab S6.

Galaxy Tab S6 is also a premium range flagship device and so it starts receiving the One UI 2.5 early. The Galaxy Tab S6 was released last year with Android 9 out of the box and later the tablet received an Android 10 update with One UI 2. And now Samsung pushes the One UI 2.5 update which is also based on Android 10. Galaxy Tab S6 comes with a 10.5” super AMOLED display.

The One UI 2.5 update starts rolling in Germany and may get extended in other regions soon. If we talk about the Galaxy Tab S6 One UI 2.5 update then it is available T860XXU3BTI2 (WiFi) and T865XXU4BTI1 (LTE). Yes, the update is rolling out on both WiFi and LTE models.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 One UI 2.5 Update – Changes

The latest update comes with a lot of improvements in UI as well as performance. And if you want to get a better experience on your Tab S6, then you should try the latest update. It also comes with changes in the feature that I am going to point out in the next paragraph.

The Galaxy Tab S6 One UI 2.5 update brings multi-window support for multitasking and Wireless DeX support. It allows us to connect our phones to the PC without connecting via any cable. Along with these two major changes the Tab S6 WiFi model also improved in terms of connectivity. Some stickers also added support on Always-on Display. Samsung has also improved the keyboard on the phone and it works great.

As this is not a major update, you may only find some bug fixes and a limited amount of new features. The device will get the major One UI 3.0 update very soon with a lot of new One UI 3 features and Android 11 features.

The update is rolling out as OTA software. And so it is possible that some users may not receive the One UI 2.5 update in the notification. In this case, we can manually check for the update which is accessible through settings.

And even after checking the update manually, if the update is not showing, then you can flash the important firmware on our phone. You can use Frija or SamFirm tool to download the latest firmware that you can flash using the Odin flash tool.

Now you can start using your Galaxy Tab S6 running on the One UI 2.5.
