This year has been great for Samsung users, until the news broke that the Android 15 based One UI 7 will not be released in 2024 but in 2025. However, this delay comes with a silver lining, as the South Korean tech giant is preparing for a big upgrade.

As 2024 comes to a close, the One UI 7.0 beta has yet to be release for Galaxy phones. However, it may be arriving soon, as the One UI 7 beta firmware spotted on servers in India, Europe, the US, Korea, and several other regions. This could mean, Samsung may release One UI 7 beta for flagship phones as early as next week, around the week of November 18.

As usual, the beta will not be released in all regions at once. It may start with South Korea with gradually expand to other regions where Samsung usually releases its One UI beta.

Talking about official release, Samsung is likely to release the stable One UI 7.0 build along with the Galaxy S25 launch or a week apart. And if they start the beta in November, they will have plenty of time for testing. So this is another reason to expect beta next week. Another news regarding One UI 7 beta is that the first public beta will have many bugs as reported by a well-known tipster, IceUniverse. Although beta versions are meant for testing and contain bugs, you may find more bugs than usual in the initial One UI 7 beta.

As far as new features are concerned, don’t expect everything Samsung has planned in the first public beta release, they might release remaining features later with other beta releases. Still, the One UI 7 beta will be exciting to test as it is said to be one of the biggest One UI updates in history.

Samsung’s decision to delay the update could prove beneficial for users. The wait will be worth it as rumors suggest Samsung is working on making One UI as smooth as possible. However, they have to deal with many obstacles before they reach their goal.

After seeing Android 15 updates from other brands, we can’t say that Samsung is late in releasing Android 15, as many brands are selling AI features with their big Android 15 based updates, which Samsung has already released with two recent big updates One UI 6.1 and One UI 6.1.1.
