Samsung at its annual developer summit confirmed that the stable Android 15-based One UI 7 update will be released early next year alongside the Galaxy S25 series.
But why? Samsung didn’t lay out the reason why the update isn’t coming this year. Maybe, Samsung is following Google’s path and wants to provide a bug-free experience.
Samsung is planning to bring a major UI revamp with the One UI 7 update. The South Korean tech titan also plans to brand all its software updates as One UI. With major changes being implemented, users can expect a smoother, more refined, and bug-free experience.
Today, Samsung has confirmed that One UI 7 will be released next year. When it comes to providing timely software updates, Samsung has been on the core front for the past few years. However, things changed this year, Samsung has now been focusing on the One UI 6.1.1 software upgrade and planning to release the One UI 7 beta for developers by the end of this year.
One UI 7 beta is coming by the end of this year
The first beta of One UI 7 will be released before the year’s end and the first phone to receive the update will most probably be the Galaxy S24. The stable version will come with the upcoming Galaxy S25 series, with the rollout for older devices should start after that.
Samsung says, “One UI 7 will bring a fresh new look and focus on three goals, Simple, Impactful, and Emotive.” It is going to be interesting to see the new changes coming with the upcoming skin.
