How to Downgrade iOS 13.5.1 to iOS 13.5 on iPhone & iPad

How to Downgrade iOS 13.5.1 to iOS 13.5

  1. Transfer the downloaded firmware to your computer either Windows or Mac.
  2. Connect your iPhone or iPad to the computer with a lightning cable.
  3. Open iTunes or Finder on your computer.
  4. After connecting your iPhone or iPad, you need to trust the device in iTunes/Finder if it asks.
  5. Now iTunes/Finder will show your device information like the current iOS version, Storage, and backup option.
  6. For Windows – Hold Shift button and left-click on the ‘Check for Update’ option.
  7. For Mac – Hold Option button and left-click on the ‘Check for Update’.
  8. Now it will open a new window for selecting upgrade/downgrade files. So browse the iOS 13.5 file, then select the file and click on Open.
  9. The above action will give a popup, so click on Update on the popup screen.
  10. It will take a few seconds to process, and it will ask to enter the passcode on your iPhone. So enter the passcode and click on Continue.
  11. That’s it now wait for the complete downgrade process, which can take some time.
  12. And after the process, the device will reboot into the system.
  13. You can now disconnect your iDevice and enjoy the iOS 13.5/iPadOS 13.5.

So this is an official method that you can follow to downgrade your iPhone or iPad to the previous version. This method will also work for other updates. But make sure to use the correct file.
