Apple released iOS 13.5.1 stable and iOS 13.5.5 Beta 1

About two weeks ago iPhones & iPads get the public iOS 13.5 & iPadOS 13.5. And just within one day, the unc0ver exploit was available to Jailbreak iOS 13.5. And to increase the Kernel security, Apple has released the public iOS 13.5.1. But just after a few hours, Apple has also released the iOS 13.5.5 Beta 1 with a couple of new features. And if you have Jailbroken iPhone, then I will not recommend updating to iOS 13.5.1 Stable. Bere, you will know how to update to iOS 13.5.1 or iOS 13.5.5 Beta 1 as per your choice.

The public iOS 13.5.1 only comes with the Security updates and no other new features. But the iOS 13.5.5 Beta 1 is focused on new features and bug fixes. The stable iOS 13.5.1 comes in 50-80MB update size, depending on the device you have. The update comes with build number 17F80, and it doesn’t come with any Modem update. So if you had any problem with the previous version, then you might face the issue also in this version. They patched the vulnerability uncovered by the popular exploit unc0ver. Steps to Remove Beta Profile from iPhone and iPad

Before removing the beta profile, you should be aware that you will not receive a beta update until you reinstall the beta profile. And adding a beta profile is an easy task, so this shouldn’t be a big problem.

  1. First, start with opening Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Then in Setting, go to General option.
  3. Look for Profile, which will be near the VPN option and then open it.
  4. It will show the installed Beta Profile, so tap on it to open and proceed further.
  5. Now tap on Remove Profile button to delete the beta profile.
  6. Then reboot your phone and now go to Software Update and install the latest available update.

Download and Install iOS 13.5.5 Beta 1

If you have a developer beta or public beta account, then you can update your iPhone to iOS 13.5.5 Beta 1. You can also sign up for the beta updates. To get updates, just make sure that your iPhone has the beta profile. If the beta profile is not installed on your iPhone, then follow the below steps; otherwise, skip it. You can also sign up for the iOS 13 beta program using the below steps.

Sign Up for iOS 13 Beta Program & Install Beta Profile

  1. Go to the Apple Beta Software program site.
  2. Then scroll down a bit and click on Sign in if you have Apple ID.
  3. On the next page, select the correct OS for your devices like iOS or iPadOS.
  4. Scroll down till Getting Started and click on Enroll your iOS device.
  5. Now you need to install a profile from the next Page. For this, click on the Download Profile.
  6. After installing the Profile, reboot your device. And you are ready to install iOS 13.5.5 Beta 1 on your iPhone.

After installing the beta profile, you can go to Settings > Software Update to install 13.5.5 Beta 1 on your iPhone.
