Galaxy Z Fold 7’s latest update brings smarter Galaxy AI features

Summarize This Article:

Samsung started rolling out the One UI 8.5 update to older Galaxy devices last month after debuting the software update with the Galaxy S26 series. Along with various improvements, the update introduced several new Galaxy AI features. Now, some of those AI-powered tools are finally making their way to the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Although the One UI 8.5 update arrived for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 last month, it initially did not include the new Galaxy AI features found on the Galaxy S26 lineup. Finally, two of the AI features from Galaxy S26 are now also rolling out for the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

The latest June 2026 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, carrying build number F966NKSUABZF1, introduces Prioritize Notifications and File Summaries. The Galaxy S25 series recently received these AI features as well, along with an additional feature called Summarize Notifications. Currently, the update is available in Korea, but Samsung is expected to expand the rollout to more regions soon.

Prioritize Notifications uses Galaxy AI to identify the notifications that are important and shows them on top, so you don’t miss them. It learns from user behavior and interaction with notifications and apps.

The second feature, File Summaries, allows Samsung Files to generate quick summaries for supported PDF and text documents before you even open them. This makes it easier to identify the contents of a file, especially when the file name doesn’t clearly indicate what the document contains.

The new monthly update has begun rolling out, so if you own a Galaxy Z Fold 7, you can update to the latest version from Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If the update is not available in your region, it will be available soon. With the addition of these new Galaxy AI features, this month’s update is a notable one for Fold 7 users.
