Google has recently announced Google Beta 3 in Google I/O 2019 event. Along with major bug fixes and new features, Google also added Android Q Beta support to 15 other devices. Luckily it is also available for OnePlus 6 & OnePlus 6T mobile phones, Along with these two OnePlus also mentioned that Android Q Beta will be also available for OnePlus 7. How to Install Android Q Beta on OnePlus 6/6T

After downloading the Android Q Beta based firmware for OnePlus 6T, you are ready to install it. The procedure to both upgrade and downgrade are same, only you need to use the particular file. Follow the Prerequisites to meet the eligibility criteria and safe flashing.

Prerequisites

  • Download the required firmware from the above link
  • Charge your phone to at least 50%
  • Take a full backup before you begin the process (The method will erase all the data)

Steps to Install Android Q Beta on OnePlus 6/6T

  1. Transfer or copy the downloaded package to the Phone memory outside of all folder.
  2. Open Settings on your phone.
  3. Go to System > System Updates. Click three dots on the top right and select Local Upgrade. Locate the package and select it.
  4. Click on Upgrade and wait for the completion.
  5. After the update click on Restart.
  6. Now phone will boot into Recovery Mode and format all users data. And then it will automatically reboot into system.
  7. Setup your device and enjoy Android Q Beta on OnePlus 6/6T.
