Apple continues its iOS 26.5 beta testing with the release of the fourth beta build. The iOS 26.5 Beta 4 is now available to developers and will soon roll out to public beta testers. With this beta update, the public release of iOS 26.5 is getting even closer.

Alongside iOS 26.5 Beta 4, Apple has also released several other beta updates, including iPadOS 26.5 Beta 4, watchOS 26.5 Beta 4, tvOS 26.5 Beta 4, macOS Tahoe 26.5 Beta 4, macOS Sequoia 15.7.7 RC2, macOS Sonoma 14.8.7 RC2, and visionOS 26.5 Beta 4.

The fourth beta of iOS 26.5 carries build number 23F5069b. On my iPhone, the update size is 12GB, though it can vary significantly depending on factors like your current software version and device.

iOS 26.5 Beta 4 update

We haven’t seen any major changes or new features in the last two beta builds, and the same holds true for Beta 4. iOS 26.5 Beta 4 mainly focuses on bug fixes and improvements. The only noticeable change is an updated description that appears when you enable end-to-end RCS encryption. Here’s what it says:

“RCS messages are encrypted end-to-end when available for all recipients in a conversation. End-to-end encryption is not available for all devices or carriers.”

If you notice any other changes, do share with us in the comments. Mark Gurman has shared that new Pride Luminance wallpapers are expected to be available in the coming weeks.

The iOS 26.5 Beta 4 is available for iPhone 11 and newer models, provided the user has selected the beta update option. To check for the update, go to Settings > General > Software Update. If you want beta updates, there is an option in the Software Update. Before installing the beta updates, make sure to back up important data.
