Apple has released iOS 26.3.1, a small incremental update for eligible devices. This incremental update focuses on supporting the latest devices that Apple has released recently. If you have an eligible iPhone and haven’t installed the iOS 26.4 beta, you’ll see this update on your device.
Along with iOS 26.3.1, Apple also released a few other updates, including iPadOS 26.3.1, iOS 18.7.6, macOS Tahoe 26.3.1, and Studio Display Firmware 26.3. The latest iOS 26.3.1 update comes with build number 23D8133 and is relatively small if updating from iOS 26.3.
As you already know, this is a small incremental update, it comes with fewer changes and improvements. As mentioned on the update page, it adds support for recently released Studio Displays along with bug fixes. Here’s the official release note:
“This update expands external display support to include Studio Display 2026 and Studio Display XDR along with bug fixes for your iPhone.”
If you have an eligible iPhone running iOS 26.3 or older, you can install the latest iOS 26.3.1 update from Settings > General > Software Update. However, if you’ve already installed the iOS 26.4 beta, the update won’t be available since you’re already on a higher version.
Before installing the update, make sure to back up your device and avoid updating in high temperatures.
