Apple seeds fourth beta of watchOS 26.5 to developers

Summarize This Article:

Apple has just dropped the new beta, or we can say the fourth beta of watchOS 26.5, to developers for testing purposes. The incremental upgrade comes out in a gap of a week. The update is designed to bring some new additions to the Apple Watch.

Apple is seeding the fourth beta of watchOS 26.5, ending with 23T5568a build number. The update comes in at a 440MB download size; if you’re running on the stable watchOS 26.4, then it requires more data for installation.

In terms of compatibility, the update is available for all Apple Watch models running watchOS 26 or newer. At the time of writing, the update is available to developers, and a public rollout is expected in a day or two.

As always, Apple didn’t mention any new changes in the release notes. However, iOS 26.5 beta users have discovered notable additions for iPhone and Watch, such as end-to-end encryption for RCS, Notification forwarding outside the EU, CarPlay improvements, and more.
