Apple has released iOS 26.4 Beta 4 to developers and public beta testers. With this latest beta, the testing phase appears to be nearing its end, and the public release could be just around the corner.
Alongside iOS 26.4 Beta 4, Apple has also released iPadOS 26.4 Beta 4, watchOS 26.4 Beta 4, tvOS 26.4 Beta 4, macOS Tahoe 26.4 Beta 4, macOS Sequoia 15.7.5 RC4, macOS Sonoma 14.8.5 RC3, and visionOS 26.4 Beta 4.
The latest iOS 26.4 Beta 4 comes with build number 23E5234a. Based on the build number, it might be the final beta update before the Release Candidate. However, Apple has a history of surprises, so nothing is confirmed.

Talking about the new features and changes, the iOS 26.4 Beta 4 comes with 8 new emojis that were introduced in the previous beta build, but were appearing as ? in a box. The Reduce Highlighting Effects setting has been renamed to Reduce Bright Effects and has been repositioned. Apart from these two changes, there are also some minor changes and improvements in the latest beta update.
If you have an eligible iPhone and have selected the beta option, you can directly install the update on your device. If you haven’t selected beta updates, you can choose them in Settings > General > Software Update. Make sure to back up your device before installing the update.
