These 5 Galaxy devices get a new One UI 8.5 Beta update

Summarize This Article:

Samsung has been actively testing the One UI 8.5 beta across multiple Galaxy devices. While it started with the Galaxy S25 series, many more devices have joined the beta program in last two months, including the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 FE, and others.

After rolling out new One UI 8.5 beta updates to the first batch of devices earlier this week, Samsung has now released the One UI 8.5 beta to a second batch of Galaxy devices. One UI 8.5 Beta 2 is now available for the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5, while the Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra have received One UI 8.5 Beta 3.

The new beta updates are available with the following build versions:

  • Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra – ZZD7
  • Galaxy S24 FE – ZZDP
  • Galaxy S23 FE – ZZDP
  • Galaxy Z Fold 5 – ZZDN
  • Galaxy Z Flip 5 – ZZDN

While the incremental One UI 8.5 Beta update primarily focuses on bug fixes and improvements, some devices have also received new features.

For instance, the Galaxy S24 FE introduces new AI features from the Galaxy S26, including Call screening, Photo Assist, Creative Studio, New Audio Eraser, and more. Similarly, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra also gets Call Screening and Creative Studio features.

If you own one of these devices and have registered for the beta program, you can update to the latest One UI 8.5 beta version. To check for the update, go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Samsung will begin rolling out the stable One UI 8.5 starting with Galaxy S25 series on April 30. In the coming weeks, it will also be released for these devices. If you receive the update, make sure to back up important data before installing it.
