With the Galaxy S26 series released a few months back, leaks for the upcoming Samsung flagship for 2027 have begun surfacing. As of now, there have always been three flagship devices in the S series – the base, the plus, and the ultra. With the upcoming Galaxy S27 series, Samsung is planning to bring in a new model, calling it the Pro.
The new Galaxy S27 Pro, according to a popular leakster on Weibo – Digital Chat Station, has revealed that Samsung is currently testing out a brand-new privacy screen. This will be a brand-new display with privacy features at the hardware level- similar but better than what we saw on this year’s Galaxy S26 Ultra.
This privacy screen on the Galaxy S27 Pro will be a 6.47-inch display with better privacy protection and is expected to solve a lot of the issues that users are facing with the S26 Ultra. This new S27 Pro is expected to sit between the base S27 and the S27 Plus, going by its screen size.
While the leaks for the privacy display sound interesting, it needs to be noted that Samsung could simply decide to go with a regular or anti-reflecting screen if they feel like the privacy display does not work out to be perfect.
The S27 Pro might be the perfect smartphone for users who want some high-end features in a smartphone with a compact-sized body. Until more leaks surface about the S27 Pro, nothing can be confirmed- be it the display, specs, or the expected price.
