Nothing Confirms ‘Phone 4b’ Naming for its Next Phone in Cryptic New Teaser

Summarize This Article:

After days of teasing its new “b” series on social media, Nothing has officially confirmed the launch of the Phone 4b, putting an end to the theories circulating online. Nothing has also offered an early glimpse of the Phone 4b moniker through a cryptic teaser video.

Nothing Confirms ‘Phone 4b’ Moniker

Nothing India has posted a new video on its X account for Phone 4b with “(b)usted” caption. The video depicts a pencil outlining the blueprint of a phone on paper. The teaser also suggests that the Phone 4b may feature a single-lens camera on the rear panel. Additionally, the phone is expected to feature a transparent design as seen on other Nothing phones.

The video closes with a row of pencils lined up together, with a new “4b” pencil added to the lineup and positioned upright, drawing attention to the upcoming device. The Phone 4b is anticipated to represent an entirely new budget-focused lineup, as opposed to being a successor to the Phone 4a. However, an official confirmation from Nothing is required before any conclusions can be drawn.

A dedicated microsite for the Nothing Phone 4b has gone live on Flipkart, accessible through the Mobile section of both the app and website. Notably, the microsite’s URL contains the string “nothing-phone-2026,” confirming that Nothing is preparing to launch a new smartphone.

Nothing recently confirmed that it will not be launching a new CMF phone this year due to the ongoing RAM crisis. With the Nothing Phone 4b now confirmed, if it does turn out to be a budget-focused device, it could very well serve as a replacement for the CMF lineup in the interim. Needless to say, we need to wait a little more for the brand to reveal more information.
