Samsung Galaxy A24 Gets One UI 8.5 Update

Samsung’s One UI 8.5 rollout is still going strong. Following the recent update for the Galaxy A15 4G, the company has now extended the Android 16-based One UI 8.5 update to the Galaxy A24. Obviously, the update goes live with a flurry of new features and enhancements.

Samsung Enthusiast Mohammed Khatri has shared the rollout information, and as per the details, the update is seeding with A245NKSU9FZF1 build number. For the time being, the One UI 8.5 update for Galaxy A24 is rolling out in mainland South Korea. The update weighs between 2.5GB to 3GB in size on the Galaxy A24. The update is in its initial rollout phase and will be available to everyone soon.

Before moving to features, the update will bump up the monthly security patch version to May 2026. For additions, the One UI 8.5 update brings visual improvements, smoother animations, updated stock apps, and new and updated Galaxy AI features if your device is eligible.

If you own the Galaxy A24 residing in South Korea, you can now update your device to the latest One UI 8.5 update. If you’ve not received the OTA notification yet, you can check for the One UI 8.5 update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Before installing the new update, always back up important data and ensure to install the update in a cool temperature.

If the One UI 8.5 update hasn’t arrived on your device, you’ll need to wait for its OTA update, as it is rolling out in batches.
