There is no stopping Samsung when it comes to Android updates. It is a big brand and they are regularly providing the latest updates to most of the devices. About a few weeks ago Samsung started rolling out the Android 11 update of mid-range phones. And today Galaxy M21 users also reportedly received the stable Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update.
One UI 3.0 is the latest stable update from Samsung which first arrived on the Galaxy S20 series in December 2020. And within a month the company has already covered many Galaxy phones. For the past few weeks, Samsung is rolling out Android 11 Updates for at least 3 devices a week. Today after rolling out the Android 11 update for Galaxy Note Lite, Galaxy M21 users are also getting the One UI 3.0 update.
Currently, the Android 11 update for Galaxy M21 (SM-M215F) is rolling out in India. But soon we can see other regions joining the party. The latest update comes with the build version M215FXXU2BUAC. Galaxy M21 One UI 3.0 update weighs over 1700MB. The update also bumps up the security patch to January 2021.
It is a major update for the device that comes with performance improvements, enhanced UI, and some new features as well. As of now, the Galaxy M21 Android 11 changelog is not available to us. The stable Android 11 Update is currently out for Indian users. But it won’t take much time when it rolls out in other regions as well. If you are waiting for the update for a long time. And if you want to taste the Android 11 right away. Then you can manually install the update using the official Galaxy M21 Android 11 firmware.
You can get the latest firmware for your region from Frija tool, SamFirm tool, or SamMobile website. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using Odin Tool. Then flash the file to your device. If you want to do so, then I recommend you take a backup prior to diving into the process. That’s it.
