One UI 8.5 update now available for Galaxy Tab S10 FE and FE+

Summarize This Article:

After rolling out the update for flagship S-series, Z-series foldables, and select A-series phones, Samsung shifted its focus to the Galaxy tablets. Yesterday, the company released the update for the Galaxy Tab S11 series, and now they have started rolling out the update for Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+. Needless to say, the update bags a plethora of changes and new additions.

At the time of writing, the update is rolling out for both Fan Edition tablets in mainland South Korea. Both WiFi and Cellular variants will receive the update in the coming days. As per the details shared by Mohammed Khatri, the update is seeding with X526NKOU7CZE3 and X626NKOU7CZE3 version numbers. We can expect the global rollout to begin before the end of the month.

Since One UI 8.5 is a big update, it weighs over 3 or 4GB for non-beta users. Make sure you have at least 5-6GB of free space on your device. The update will bump up the monthly security patch version to May 2026. Apart from that, you will get access to a slew of new features and changes.

Despite being a mid-year update, it brings significant changes and improvements, including a redesigned interface, new and improved Galaxy AI, improved Camera, and more customization options.

Now, if you own the Galaxy Tab S10 FE or FE+ and reside in South Korea, you can check for the One UI 8.5 update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Before installing the new update, always back up important data and ensure to install the update in a cool temperature.

If the One UI 8.5 update hasn’t arrived on your device, you’ll need to wait for its OTA update, as it is rolling out in batches.
