- Pull up the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows and R keys.
- In the search box, type in services.msc and hit the enter key.
- When the Services window opens up press the W key on your keyboard.
- Keep pressing the W key till you are able to highlight the Windows Audio Endpoint Builder.
- You should be seeing its status as Running.
- Right-click on it and choose the Restart option.
- Alternatively, you can first choose the Refresh option and then choose again to restart the services.
- It will ask if you wish to restart the services. Select yes.

Some Windows 11 PCs, especially the ones from Asus have the DTSX Ultra Audio Equalizer that comes built-in with these systems. You can easily adjust and tweak your audio elves using this equalizer. If you feel the audio levels don’t seem right or you wish to simply rest it, you can do this by easily following these steps.
- Open the Start menu and type in DTSX. When you see the app, click on it to launch the audio equalizer.
- At the top right corner of the app, you should be seeing the Settings menu.
- Click on the Settings menu and choose the Reset Defaults option.
- It will ask if you want to reset the setting to default.
- Click on the Reset button. The audio equalizer will now be reset to factory defaults.
