Apple releases iOS 26.5 Beta 3 with bug fixes and improvements

Summarize This Article:

The third beta of iOS 26.5 is now available for developers. It will soon roll out to public beta testers, and depending on when you’re reading this, it may already be live. iOS 26.5 Beta 3 mainly focuses on bug fixes and overall stability improvements.

Along with iOS 26.5 Beta 3, Apple also released other updates, including iPadOS 26.5 Beta 3, tvOS 26.5 Beta 3, watchOS 26.5 Beta 3, macOS Tahoe 26.5 Beta 3, macOS Sequoia 15.7.7 RC, macOS Sonoma 14.8.7 RC, and visionOS 26.5 Beta 3.

The iOS 26.5 Beta 3 comes with build number 23F5059e. If you switch from Beta 2, the OTA update weighs around a couple of GBs. However, if you haven’t installed iOS 26.5 Beta yet, it will be around 10GB. Make sure to use WiFi to download the update.

iOS 26.5 Beta 3 Update

The iOS 26.5 Beta 3 update brings only minor improvements and bug fixes. It doesn’t include major features and changes, similar to the last beta. This is expected, as Apple is likely preparing to begin testing iOS 27 and will reserve most major changes for that release. Also, iOS 26.5 is getting closer to its public release.

If you own an iPhone 11 or newer model and have opted for the beta update, you can download and install the iOS 26.5 Beta 3 on your device from Settings > General > Software Update > Download and Install. If you haven’t opted for the beta, you can do so in Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates.
