Apple’s next big hardware event is approaching fast, where the company is expected to unveil the next generation of iPhones and Apple Watches. Additionally, the event will likely coincide with the public release of the latest operating systems including watchOS 11.
Continuing the testing phase for watchOS 11, today, Apple has released the seventh beta of watchOS 11 for developers. The newest update comes one week after the release of the sixth beta. For iPhone users, Apple released the seventh beta of iOS 18.
Apple plants the new firmware on eligible Apple Watch models with a 22R5348a build number. The update has a download size of approximately 860MB on my Apple Watch Series 7, relatively bigger than previous releases. Currently, the new update is out for developers, a public release should commence in a matter of time.
As we mentioned earlier, we are near to the public release of watchOS 11, we shouldn’t expect significant changes. Instead, the focus will be on bug fixes and performance enhancements.
