Galaxy S20 One UI 2.5 update is currently rolling out in the European region. And soon we can expect it to be available in other regions as well.
The update also brings some new features like apps version same as Note 20 series phones. And all other software features present in the Galaxy Note 20 are available in the One UI 2.5 update for Galaxy S20 5G series. Some of the main features are Enhanced Pro Video Mode, Wireless DeX, and more.
One of the main features that you will love on the OneUI 2.5 is the support for Android 10 navigation gestures on third-party launchers like Nova Launcher and Pixel Launcher. It’s good to see how Samsung is actively rolling out OneUI updates to its most galaxy phones.
Download and Install One UI 2.5 on Galaxy S20 Series
As you know the update is currently rolling out as OTA in the European region. And if you have a European model and haven’t received the update then you can manually search or flash the update on your phone. You can also cross flash European firmware to a different region device but I wouldn’t recommend that as it can cause your phone to misbehave.
The basic step that you can follow to update is to go to Settings and search for system updates and enter the System update settings. And there you can search for the update manually. Sometimes we don’t receive notification for updates and this will help you to keep you updated all the time.
You can also flash the firmware with the Odin tool in case if you have the correct firmware. To get the firmware you can use the Frija tool, SamFirm tool, or Sammobile website. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Then flash the file to your device.
