Safehouses in Grand Theft Auto VI have been an essential part of the game. They provide immunity to the player from other players and in-game law enforcement. Once inside your safe house, you cannot be killed, and you cannot use any weapons.
Safehouses, in general, let you perform specific activities such as having food and drinks, watching TV, checking out the security camera system, changing your outfits, and even the option to park your vehicles if there’s a garage attached to it.
So what about the upcoming GTA VI game? Are there safehouses here as well?
GTA VI: Confirmed Safehouses and Properties
While Rockstar Games has not officially provided a list of all properties and safehouses, there are two confirmed safehouses based on details revealed in images, trailers, and pre-order materials.
Both characters, Lucia and Jason, are expected to have their own safehouses. Lucia’s safehouse is called the Starlet Motel, whereas Jason’s safehouse is a property belonging to Brian Heder, who has hired Jason to help with his business.

GTA VI Can You Purchase Properties?
Looking at how many new properties were added over the years to GTA Online that could be purchased, it’s safe to say that there will be many properties available for you to purchase, as well as possibly several businesses that you can also own and earn GTA dollars. As the map is reportedly larger than GTA V’s map, we can expect a good number of safehouses, garages, underground bunkers, and many businesses.
Purchasing properties has been a core aspect of the GTA games, starting with GTA Vice City, which was launched back in 2002.
