Early this week, Samsung rolled out the One UI 8.5 update for a bunch of M-series and F-series phones. Today, the company has extended the availability to two more old phones – the Galaxy F06 and the Galaxy F54. For the time being, the update is in a rolling phase and available to limited users. As per the details shared by Tarun Vats, the update lands on the entry-level Galaxy F06 with E066BXXU6CZE6 build number, whereas the Galaxy F54 receives the update with E546BXXUCFZE5 firmware version. The update weighs between 2.5GB to 3GB in size on both phones.

Before moving to features, the update will bump up the monthly security patch version to May 2026. For additions, the One UI 8.5 update brings visual improvements, smoother animations, updated stock apps, and new and updated Galaxy AI features if your device is eligible.

Now, whether you own the Galaxy F06 or Galaxy F54, you can update your device to the One UI 8.5. If you’ve not received the OTA notification yet, you can check for the One UI 8.5 update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
