Samsung has been diligently working on releasing the One UI 8.5 update. The company has already released the update for flagship S-series phones, foldables, premium tablets, and mid-range A-series phones. Now the rollout reaches the affordable Galaxy A07 5G and mid-tier M-series Galaxy M56 5G. Needless to say, the update brings a nice set of features to these phones.

As per the details shared by Mohammed Khatri, who is constantly tracking One UI 8.5 updates and other Samsung stuff, the update goes live in India for Galaxy M56 with M566BXXU5CZE2 build number. While the firmware of the Galaxy A07 5G hit Samsung servers in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Taiwan with A076BXXU3BZE3 software version.

Samsung is pushing the One UI 8.5 update to the Galaxy M56 5G with a bunch of new features, and the update weighs around 2.2GB in download size. The update is already available to many Galaxy M56 owners in India. The update will bump up the monthly security patch version to May 2026.

Talking about the features, One UI 8.5 is a big upgrade for Galaxy devices. Samsung has pushed some of the best AI features from the Galaxy S26 series to older models. A selection of these features is also anticipated to be available for older devices. If you’re wondering what’s new, it brings a redesigned interface, new and improved Galaxy AI, improved Camera, more customization options, and more.
