Android 13 based One UI 5 beta program goes live for Samsung Galaxy A52

Samsung announces the Android 13 based One UI 5 beta program for its third smartphone. The beta program is already live for the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22. This time, the program goes live for an A-series smartphone. Yes, the wait is finally over. Samsung kicks off the beta testing of the Android 13 program for Galaxy A52. Samsung Galaxy A52 was launched in March 2021 with Android 11 based One UI 3.0, the phone received its first major OS upgrade – Android 12 this April. And now the company has started testing the second major OS upgrade on the LTE variant of the Galaxy A52.

Android 13 beta program allegedly goes live for select Galaxy A52 users in India, a user has created a thread on Samsung’s community forum with a screenshot of the testing program banner in the Samsung Members app. As per the details, the beta update hits the Galaxy A52 with October 2022 monthly security patch version and measures approx. 2GB in size. As it is a big update, it will require a big chunk of data for downloading the software, you can connect your phone to a stable Wi-Fi network for faster downloading.

Speaking about the features, then One UI 5.0 is equipped with a flurry of new features that includes more dynamic color palette options in themes, the ability to stack widgets on the home screen, notifications permissions for apps, the ability to set language per app, the option to edit lock screen wallpaper gallery, new camera app features, improvements, and more.
