A host of phones from the Realme 8 series have already received the Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 update, including the Realme 8 5G, Realme 8 Pro, Realme 8i, and Realme 8s. Now, it’s the turn of the vanilla Realme 8 4G. While owners of the Realme 8 4G still need to wait a few more days to receive the stable update, the open beta is already available for the smartphone.

Realme officially shares the details for the open beta program. The details reveal the open beta access will be available first to the phones running on any of these software versions – RMX3085_11.C.15 | RMX3085_11.C.16 | RMX3085_11.C.17. If your phone is on older software, update it to the newer one. It is a big upgrade, so make sure that your phone has enough storage space.

Realme is pushing the new software to the Realme 8 4G with F.03 version number. Talking about the features, then the upgrade brings updated AOD, a dynamic computing engine for performance enhancements, a Private Safe tool, support for more color palettes, large folders for the home screen, new editing tools for the screenshot, and more. You can also expect the newer monthly security patch with the update.

If you own Realme 8 4G and want to try out the new features of Realme UI 4.0, then you can join the open beta program and try out the new skin. All you need to do is, navigate to Software Update in Settings and tap on gear icon at the top right corner, then select Trial version and enter the required details. Now once your application got approved, you will receive the open beta update via special OTA.

As Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0 is a major upgrade it requires a huge amount of data for downloading, so make sure you have enough data. Also, make sure to take a backup of important data before updating your device to the new software.
