Realme releases stable Android 13 update for Realme C25 and Realme 8i

Realme has started rolling out the stable Android 13 update for Realme C25 and Realme 8i. The company has been testing its Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0 skin on two phones for the past two months and now is the time for a stable rollout. As it is a major upgrade, it bags a slew of new features and changes, read along to know all details about the Realme C25 and Realme 8i stable Android 13 update.

At the time of writing, the update is in a rolling phase and will be available to everyone very soon. Realme said, the update will be available to those running on the latest software version. If you own Realme 8i, then your smartphone needs to be running on RMX3151_11 C.19 or RMX3151_11 C.21, Realme C25 owners need to update their device to RMX3193_11.C.11 or RMX3193_11.C.10.

Talking about the changes, then Realme is pushing the new Realme UI 4.0 skin with features including updated AOD, a dynamic computing engine for performance enhancements, a Private Safe tool, support for more color palettes, large folders for the home screen, new editing tools for the screenshot, and more. You can also expect the newer monthly security patch.

    • Adds Aquamorphic Design theme colours for enhanced visual comfort.
    • Adds Shadow-Reflective Clock, with shadows to simulate the orientation of the sun and moon.
    • Adds a Home screen world clock widget to show the time in different time zones.
    • Adapts responsive layouts to accommodate different screen sizes to improve readability.
    • Optimises the widget design to make information easier and quicker to find.
    • Optimises fonts for better readability.
    • Optimises system icons by using the latest colour scheme to make the icons easier to recognise.
    • Enriches and optimises illustrations for features by incorporating multicultural and inclusive elements.
  • Efficiency
    • Adds media playback control, and optimises the Quick Settings experience.
    • Adds more markup tools for screenshot editing.
    • Upgrades Doodle in Notes. You can now draw on graphics to take notes more efficiently.
  • Seamless Interconnection
    • Optimises Screencast, with cast content automatically adapting to the target screen.
    • Optimises earphone connectivity to deliver a more seamless and simpler experience.
  • Security & Privacy
    • Optimises Private Safe. The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is used to encrypt all files for enhanced security of private files.
  • Health & Digital Wellbeing
    • Adds Eye comfort in Kid Space to protect children’s vision.

If you are a Realme 8i or Realme C25 owner, you will receive the OTA update on your phone soon. Sometimes the update arrives on phone, but its notification doesn’t appear, so make sure to check for the update manually from Settings.
