As various reports claimed earlier this month, a new beta version of One UI 7 has been released, which means the stable One UI 7 will be further delayed. Although, the One UI 7 beta 4 was expected to be released this Monday, it has now started rolling out on Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on your region.

No one seems to have a clear idea of how many more One UI 7 beta will release for the Galaxy S24, nor when the stable One UI 7 will be released. I doubt even Samsung is aware of this unless they are intentionally delaying the One UI 7 to increase sales of the Galaxy S25.

The fourth One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy S24 comes with build version ZYBA and it comes with the February Android security patch. The update size is almost 1.5GB, so itโ€™s advisable to download it using WiFi.

The One UI 7 Beta 4 focuses on bug fixes. It finally addressed some known bugs that were affecting the One UI 7 experience on Galaxy S24, including animation enhancements. Here is the full changelog of the One UI 7 Beta 4 update:

Bugs that have been fixed

  • Add Al Filter in Camera
  • Add Samsung Log in Camera (S24Ultra)
  • Fix Ul error of lock screen and AOD
  • Fix quick panel Ul error
  • Fix grouping alarm error
  • Fix the problem of stuttering when releasing fingerprint
  • Fix the problem of disappearing the top bar from the home screen
  • Modify the animation that was unnatural when opening and closing the app recently
  • Fix the problem that there is a gap in the status bar after installing Goodlock Quickstar
  • Many other improvements

Although the fourth beta fixes various issues, itโ€™s uncertain whether itโ€™s the final beta or if there will be additional betas before the stable One UI 7 is released to older devices.

The One UI 7 Beta 4 will be available to your Galaxy S24 device if you’ve registered for the beta program through the Samsung Members app. To check for the update, simply navigate to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Share your experiences with the latest beta. Did it improve anything or could Samsung have gone with the stable One UI 7 release instead?
