Samsung released the One UI 7 beta in December, but it’s currently limited to the Galaxy S24 series in select regions. The stable One UI 7 is expected to release soon, and it seems like the release date is quite close as Samsung is now allowing users to access the stable One UI 7 on the Galaxy S24 FE through the Remote Test Lab.
Remote Test Lab is an official developer website that allows users to test various Samsung devices. While RTL is primarily built for developers to test their apps on the devices, anyone with a Samsung account can access it.
As spotted by a Reddit user, the Galaxy S24 FE can be upgraded to One UI 7 in the Remote Test Lab for the new custom UI experience. Yes, Samsung is now giving users a virtual experience of the upcoming One UI 7 on the Galaxy S24 FE.
The One UI 7 RTL build on Galaxy S24 FE was seen running with firmware version S721BXXU3BYA2 along with the January 2025 Android Security Patch. Here are the images shared by the Reddit user.
Some users have reported that the Now Brief and Audio Eraser are currently missing from the build, while the Now Bar feature only appears in AOD.
If you donโt have a Galaxy S24 or donโt want to install the beta, you can sign in or sign up in the Remote Test Lab to experience stable One UI 7 virtually. You can now test One UI 7 on the Galaxy S24 FE, in addition to the S25.
For the stable experience on the physical device, you still need to wait for the stable update, which could start rolling out anytime soon. Initially, the update will be available for the Galaxy S24 series, followed by other flagship and popular mid-range phones.
