While many were expecting the stable One UI 7 update to arrive in the coming days, a recent tip suggests that another beta build will be released before the official version. This indicates that the stable version is still a few weeks away.
Although Samsung has launched the Galaxy S25 with One UI 7, they are still not yet ready with the final version for the Galaxy S24, despite a three-month delay. Users are not pleased with the slow pace of Samsungโs update progress this year.
Ice Universe, a well-known tipster, shared a reply or comment from an official in charge of the beta program. He also mentioned that the stable version is still a long way off. We are talking about the Galaxy S24, other device owners will have to wait even longer.
The official has mentioned that this is due to an issue related to screen calibration that affects the color temperature. One UI 7 team has found the fix, and they will incorporate it into the beta 4. Hereโs the translated response from the beta teamโs incharge:
“Hello. I am in charge of beta testing. Thank you for participating in the beta test. This is a side effect that occurred in the ONE UI 7.0 fix, and is a bug that causes the display color temperature to be more yellow than originally intended when using color optimization in natural mode. Improvements have been completed by modifying the display color temperature settings, and the corrections will be included in the next beta version (4th). Until the next beta version update, we recommend turning off the color optimization function or using it in vivid mode as this issue does not exist in vivid mode. Thank you for your valuable comments.”
I donโt know how users will react if Samsung releases the official version of One UI 7 with bugs even after delaying it for months. One UI 7 on Galaxy S25 already revealed what to expect from the update, and the changes donโt seem significant enough to warrant further delays.
