Earlier this month, Samsung officially unveiled the next iteration of its custom skin, One UI 6. Obviously, the new skin is based on Android 14 and boasts a whole bunch of new features and changes. Today, the company has released the One UI 6 beta for Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy F23. Read on to know more details.

Samsung recently kicked off the beta program for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5. And now is the time for last year’s foldable phones – the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 5. At the time of writing, the beta testing program is official in mainland South Korea. It will also be available in other regions in a matter of time. Here’s a screen of the beta participation banner shared by Tarun Vats on X (formerly Twitter).

Talking about the Galaxy F23, then it is the first affordable mid-ranger to get a taste of new skin. The beta program is live in India and rolling with the E236BXXU4ZWJ1 build number. It is a big update that weighs a whopping 2.6GB in download size. For security, the update brings a newer October 2023 monthly security patch. Here’s a screenshot shared by Tarun Vats on X.

Moving to the features and changes, the One UI 6 packs with a slew of new features including the redesigned Quick Settings, more customization controls on the lock screen, new One UI Sans font, new emojis, a new media player, separate battery settings, and many more. You can check the complete list of new features coming with One UI 6.

Whether you own the Galaxy F23, Galaxy Z Flip 4, or Galaxy Z Fold 4, you can opt in the One UI 6 beta program to try out the new skin. However, please keep in mind that the initial beta release may have some issues, so we don’t recommend installing beta builds on your primary smartphone.

If you are in a haste and want to join the beta program, you need to install the Samsung Members app on your smartphone, once done, open the app and find the One UI 6 beta banner and tap on it.

If not available you can check for Notices section (bell icon). There you will see the One UI 6 Beta banner. Tap on it and follow instructions. After that you can check for the update in Settings > Software Update.
