One UI 5.1 is the first major update since the release of One UI 5. The latest One UI 5.1 comes with a host of new features for Galaxy phones. Samsung started the update rollout last month. And as always, premium phones get the update first. And now the mid range Galaxy phones are also getting the One UI 5.1 update.
The latest mid range Samsung phone to get One UI 5.1 is the Galaxy A52 5G. The 5G phone was launched exactly two years ago with Android 11 based One UI 3. And then the device received two major updates Android 12/One UI 4 and Android 13/One UI 5. Yes, One UI 5.1 is also based on Android 13.
Samsung Galaxy A52 5G has joined the One UI 5.1 list starting with countries in Asia. One UI 5.1 is being released with the build number A526BXXU2EWB1. And soon it will be available in other regions and for the standard Galaxy A52 model as well.
The One UI 5.1 is more than an incremental update and thus weighs around 1100MB. Before we jump into the changes and features, the update brings February 2023 android security patch to the device.
Now coming to new features, the One UI 5.1 comes with different battery widgets, quickly change color tone, improved search in Gallery, settings suggestions, and more.
If you are a Galaxy A52 5G user, you will receive the OTA update soon if you haven’t received it already. The OTA update notifications don’t work sometimes or even the notification appears late, and you might miss the update. So make sure to manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Once the update is available you can download and install it.
Before updating your phone make sure to take a backup of your phone and charge it to at least 50%.
