Yes, the update was earlier available only for its 4G variant which was released a week ago. Finally, Galaxy A52 5G users can also experience Android 12 and One UI 4.0 features.

If you’ve been looking for One UI 4.0 related news and answers as to when your phone will get the update, then you already know that Samsung is well ahead of its rollout plans. The OEM is already giving the opportunity to experience Android to mid range and budget phone users. And Galaxy A52 5G is the latest Samsung phone to receive the Android 12 update.

The stable Android 12 for Galaxy A52 5G is rolling out in Europe. Galaxy A52 5G Android 12 update comes with build number A526BXXU1BUL7. The build number can vary per region. Since it is a major update, it weighs more than security updates. The stable Android 12 update also knocks up the Android Security Patch to January 2022 which is the latest.

Coming to the features part, the stable Android 12 brings new widgets, very smooth animations while opening and closing of apps, overhauled quick panel, automatic dark mode for wallpapers, icons, and illustrations, new charging animation, and much more. As of now, we don’t have the exact changelog, but you can check out the common One UI 4.0 changelog.

If you are a Galaxy A52 5G user then you can expect the Android 12 through an OTA update. The update is rolling out in batches which means the update arrival timing can vary for users. To check for the update manually, go to Settings > Software Update.

If you want the update immediately, then you can also manually install the update using firmware. You can download the firmware from Frija toolSamsung Firmware Downloader. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using Odin Tool. Then flash the Galaxy A52 5G firmware to your device. If you want to do so, then I recommend you take a backup prior to diving into the process. That’s it.
